Don't
forget:
Prevention is better than Cure.
Plant protection begins with setting the right plant in the right place in the
ground.
- Don't plant roses in soggy ground, or else put in a drainage system
- Don't wet the leaves when watering
- Shallowly cultivate the soi often or mulch
- Remove sources of infection (fallen leaves and bits of cane) regularly.
If necessary remove infected plants before winter.
- Encouraging birds and beneficial insects controls pests.
